March Program

March 12 @ 6:30 pm 7:30 pm

Bring your finished brown bag creation for show and tell and you will be asked to tell us how easy and fun it was to do. At the February meeting and/or in the February newsletter there will be an entrance questionnaire to fill out and bring to the March meeting. Handing this in will be your chance to win one of several prizes as a reward for participating and finishing your creation according to the directions.

Just in case you misplaced the directions but still have the brown bag and are pondering over what to produce here are the rules once again:

You may make anything you wish, large, small, or in-between but all projects must have some quilting on it. It MUST have at least one flower incorporated into the design, this could be part of the fabric, something you made, a real flower, or a fake one just so long as we can tell it is a flower. You must use the paint chips as a guide to your color pallet (a chance to be creative here).  And, of course, don’t forget you MUST use the fun extras in your bag in some way on your project.  You don’t have to use every bit of them but each must be used in some way. You can add other interesting extras as you wish.  BUT you MUST use what was in the bag!  If you have any questions Chris McCoy, Nancie Saraceni, Ann Lang, and Sue Nevins will be glad to help you out. Happy sewing!

The rest of the program will be all about the quilt show.
