I don’t know about you\, but I can always use more tote bags! \n\n\n\nThere is homework to do before coming to class\, so please read all instructions and ask any questions. \n\n\n\nSew (2) 12” finished blocks\, one for each side of the tote (blocks will be 12 1/2″ X 12 1/2″ square) \n\n\n\nCut all fabric as listed in the instructions here Gabrielle Tote Bag \n\n\n\n*No hoagies will be available as this is the 3rd Saturday of the month\, so please bring your lunch or try out the cafeteria.

You can make up your own pattern\, or you can purchase a pattern online. One suggestion is Laura Heine’s Whatevers! patterns that are $8.50 (see the link below). These are generally very easy patterns finishing at an 8.5 inch unfinished block. Make 4 to make a wall hanging or table topper. \n\n\n\nLaura Heine Whatevers! Patterns \n\n\n\nFor this class\, in addition to your regular supplies\, you’ll need: \n\n\n\n\nSteam a Seam 2\n\n\n\nApplique scissors like Karen K. Buckley’s\n\n\n\nPrecision fusing mat or applique pressing sheet (one will be available at the workshop)\n\n\n\nPencil for tracing\n\n\n\nFabric for your project\n\n\n\n\nHoagies will be available!
