Thank you for your service to our country!
Just a very small sampling of the 46 quilts Berry Basket Quilters donated to JB MDL Military & Family Readiness Center. These quilts are given to new military moms through their “Bundles for Babies” program.
In memory of Jamie Widrig-Stillwill, Berry Basket Quilters donated three quilts to her family.
Master Sergeant Widrig-Stillwill served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. She was a C17 Loadmaster at McGuire Air Force Base. Jamie passed away on Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
Thank You, Frank
In appreciation for all that Frank Pucci has done for BBQ, we presented this quilt to him at our Holiday Party last evening. Frank, a member of the VFW in Medford, has been our meeting host. He helps with the set up and stays to the end of our meetings to lock the doors.
Thank you, Frank, for your service to our country and Berry Basket Quilters!
Veteran Bill Spicer was presented with a quilt to thank him for his service in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Spicer lives in Westampton and was the longtime Burlington County Farm Fair manager.

At our May meeting last evening, BBQ donated 150 pillowcases to be used by the children at Camp No Worries this June.
Camp No Worries is where children with cancer and their siblings can just be kids for a week every summer.
On behalf of our Outreach Committee,
Berry Basket Quilters presented this beautiful quilt at our April meeting to Lisa Marie Brunner.
Lisa Marie is a proud Gold Star Mother who lost her son,
EN3 Benjamin Alan Brunner, in 2019 while he was serving in the US Navy.
Thank you, Shirley, for your service as President of Berry Basket Quilters for 2021 and 2022!
Berry Basket Quilters had been given this plaque in thanks for the quilts we donated to military members returning from Iraq.
The flag within the shadow box had been flown over Iraq.
Commander Mark Preston agreed to hang this plaque at the VFW since BBQ has no home for it.
Sherry Brown and Shirley Beckett did the presentation. Susan Painting gave a history of the BBQ and our connection to the military.
