Workshop – Gridded Fusible Interfacing

| June’s Workshop will teach us how to use gridded fusible interfacing with 2.5 inch squares. The interfacing will be provided. You can pick your own project. Make it patriotic for July! Pillowcases, placemats, table runners, hot pads, bags and even quilts can be made using this technique. Even though the gridded interfacing is for 2.5 inch squares, you could use 5 inch squares, or 5×2.5 inch rectangles, etc. Additional supplies apart from your standard sewing items are: Fabric cut to your desired size (AccuQuilt machines will be available for cutting) Sharp scissors (like applique scissors) to snip the intersections. If bringing your own small iron, you may want an applique pressing sheet to protect your iron and ironing board ** Hoagies will be available for order. **Come learn, or sit and sew and socialize!
